Gaited Horse Associations

We are members of the following gaited horse associations.  Feel free to browse their websites to learn more about what they provide for the gaited horse breeds.

Friends of Sound Horses (FOSH): FOSH is a non-profit organization that provides sound venues for all gaited breeds.  Their goal is to educate the public about the natural gaits of gaited horses and to help end the problem of soring. www.friendsofsoundhorses.org.

National Walking Horse Association (NWHA): NWHA is a non-profit organization that was originally organized to help end the practice of soring Tennessee Walking Horses in the show ring.  NWHA now puts on naturally-gaited horse shows and trail rides.  They also have a tracking registry and trail riding program.  www.nwha.com.

Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA): TWHBEA is the original registry for Tennessee Walking Horses and provides show venues and trail riding programs.
